Bio

José Vázquez Cabo was born in Monforte de Lemos (Lugo, Galiza, Spain) in 1976. He graduated as a Telecommunications Engineer (2005) from the University of Vigo, specializing in Telematics. He collaborated closely with the Antenna Group at the Optical Communications Laboratory, where he later taught. He started his career at REC7 S.L. (2005-2007) continuing his training in subjects related to his specialty and simultaneously teaching this activity in the Computer Fundamentals II laboratory as visiting professor (2005-2006 academic year) of the Department of Telematics at the E.T.S.E.T. from the University of Vigo. Subsequently, he began a period of 3 years at Colabora Ingenieros S.L. (2007-2010) developing its activity in different fields (design, integration and management of LAN-WLAN-WiMAX networks, VoIP, radio links, maintenance of mobile telephony equipment, etc.). Since October 2010, he joined the Antenna Group as PDI, performing his duties within the Radioelectric Measurements Laboratory (LMR).
