BIOGRAFÍA

Fernando Obelleiro Basteiro was born in Forcarei, Galiza, Spain, in 1968. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in telecommunication engineering from the University of Vigo, Spain, in 1991 and 1994, respectively. In 1993, he was a Visiting Scholar in the ElectroScience Laboratory, The Ohio State University. In 1991, he joined the faculty of the Telecommunication Engineering School, University of Vigo. He became an Associate Professor in 1994 and Full Professor in 2001. He is with the Spanish Navy as a Technical Consultant on radar cross-section measurements and electromagnetic compatibility, being a national representative in several NATO special working groups. His research interests include high performance computing, computational electromagnetics, antenna design, and RCS measurement and control.
