This group has worked with different companies and institutions in various aspects related to the measures of technical parameters of radio systems. The most relevant are:

Measurement of DVB-T interfered by analogue television:
The results of an extensive study on analogue PAL signals interfered with digital DVB-T signals were presented in a final report. The analysis covers a theoretical evaluation of the interference problems, field measurements, laboratory measurements, and even a national survey among TV installation companies. The main objective is the identification and explanation of the interference problems reported at several towns in Spain since the start of DVB-T broadcasting. The University of Vigo (UVIGO) and the Polytechnic University of Madrid (UPM) have performed this study, as a result of an agreement with UTECA, the Spanish association of commercial TV (Antena 3, Sogecable and Tele 5). The Spanish Federation of Telecommunication Installers (FENITEL) and a Spanish manufacturer, FAGOR, have also collaborated in the project. The results were presented to the College of Telecommunications Engineering and served to change the rules of Common Telecommunication Infrastructure.

- Studies of television coverage in the vicinity of wind farms:
Several studies have been performed for the company Gamesa and for the Galician regional government to study the influence of wind farms in the tv coverage specially in several areas of Galicia.

- Experimental studies of simultaneous analog-digital broadcasting on Medium Wave:
This study was performed in the framework of the PROFIT project entitled "Research Project on the feasibility of using simultaneous broadcasts digital technology (DRM) and analog (AM) on medium wave band using the same infrastructure" granted by Cadena Cope. Within this project, simulations and field measurements were made and they were presented to all Spanish radio operators.

-  Remotely Controlled System to measure electromagnetic emissions:
We developed a device for Isolux Watt that could continuously measure the electromagnetic emissions and send the information via GPRS to a database, so this data could be available on a Web interface that shows measures over time of the various probes.
